I enjoy coordinating and communicating with people in event planning and I am someone who likes to work in organization. I am however, not the most artistically talented person so art is not really my strong suit. I could work in communication, organization or similar aspects of the planning part.
I have absolutely no experience in event planning. I would love to be involved in designing posters or other media to help promote the party if there's any room for that. If not possible, I would like to be somehow involved artistically.
I once planned a spa day and multiple day trips for my group in Thailand. This included paying for transportation, organizing times, meeting points, and communicating with our group leaders. I am currently involved in planning the Sam Mahara Day of Justice, and and helped to plan the Center halloween celebration. I love coming up with activities, and Im pretty good at communicating with people.
I don't think that I have had alot of experience with event planning. From my very limited experience with event planning, I found that it was extremely hard to do and definitely needs alot of organization, mainly the fact that events are booked really early, like years beforehand. I think that maybe organization of presentation might be something I might be comfortable in planning for event.
I have planned events before, so I am flexible to do anything. I am sociable so I can interact with people, I can run booths, keep things organized, speak in front of crowds, etc. I can run music, or food, or anything really
I have pretty minimal event planning experience, but I consider myself to be a great team player and I have a lot of creativity. These are two skills that I believe could be beneficial to any group, and I think that with proper guidance in event planning I could achieve success. Also, at the event I will be performing at a center point with the Lick Wilmerding Advanced Jazz Combo, so that is something to consider.
I don't have any prior experience with event planning, but I'm ready to go into something new. I think the skills that will help me most with this are my organization, focus on the task at hand, and ability to listen effectively.
I have organized many meetings with teachers and faculty so I know I am good at taking initiative. I volunteered at my elementary school's carnival and I helped my parents organize their booth; they did most of the work. I am always very punctual and I am usually very decisive. I am good at listening and building off of other people's ideas instead of being dismissive. I can also be sort of creative especially if we were to come up with games and such for the block party.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
