Today Nick and I went to Mamas art Cafe which was one of the business EAG works with. Nick and I worked to get photos and ideas for them to promote themselves for the kiva zip program they are applying for. By doing this we were able to learn a little more about a different type of smaller grant application process.
Today I met with Maria Picar from OMI. We went over the flyers for the car show, and the application for potential sponsors. After finalizing these documents, I went by Phillz Coffee and Whole foods to speak with the managers about sponsorship/advertising. While I was able to meet with Phillz in person, Janene was not present at WF and so I will reach out by email.
Today Sofia and I researched a compiled a contact list for a large amount of rotary clubs in the greater bay area. This list was for the head of the organization so that she can make calls for getting funding from said clubs.
Today Dylan and I carried up YAX’s popcorn machine, that the center has been borrowing. After that Dylan and I organized YAX’s “sitting room”. From taking stuff to storage closet to building storage boxes, Dylan and I spent the day organizing and cleaning up.
Last Thursday Zach and I created an Instagram page for Mama's art cafe in the excelsior. We also brainstormed various ways to expand their custom base through social media.
Last Thursday, me and Maiyio first brought up the popcorn machine located in the center up to the office. We then spent the rest of our time organizing their main living room area, assembling boxes, and labeling them.
This class, Ben and I made a spreadsheet of information regarding Rotary Clubs in Marin County. The spreadsheet covered how to contact each organization (phone, email, website, contact person).
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
