Today, Maurice and I worked on outreach to potential clients via email. While he looked up contact info and drafted emails, I learned how to create a fillable pdf. We will continue our work over the next few classes, and go out into the neighborhood to meet with businesses one on one.
This past class I drafted an email to a few local car clubs with seats writable pdf. For the next class I believe we are meeting with Maria which I am looking forward to as I missed our last meeting. I also believe we need to give her the translated Chinese document as the meeting is coming up.
Today, Dylan and I did more work that connects to helping the YAXBP. We called organization and food trucks to see if they were available to attend, and we also confirmed artists and performers.
Today nick and I worked with Ms. Wu and emailed others to finalize a schedule for how we would help EAG and MAC with there Kiva zip campaign. Hopefully we can move forward today and make a lot of progress.
Zach and I finalized the logistics for Mama's art cafe's Kiva application. On Wednesday we will begin it in earnest.
Last Monday, Maiyio and I worked on ordering food trucks and the jumpy house for the block party, as well as contact volunteers for running booths such as face painting and henna.
I worked on completing the rotary club lists in Marin County, then proceeded to make phone calls to foundations in San Francisco. We left several messages, but completed over 5 phone calls.
